IndexChex

Published · By IndexChex

IndexChex is a backlink indexer and bulk Google index checker that submits URLs for Googlebot crawling and verifies indexation in one credit system. It handles backlinks on sites you don't own, offers standard, instant and drip-fed submission, and checks results against live Google search.

Overview

IndexChex is software for getting URLs crawled by Googlebot and confirming whether those URLs made it into Google's index. It is aimed at SEO practitioners who build or buy links on third-party websites (guest posts, citations, press pickups, profile pages) and have no Search Console access to those sites. The product combines two jobs that are usually sold separately: a backlink indexer that pushes discovery, and an index checker that verifies the outcome.

The service is published at indexchex.com and is used through a web dashboard or a REST API. Every action draws from one credit balance, so a team can submit a batch, check it later and resubmit the misses without moving between tools.

How it works

Submission follows the general pattern described in how backlink indexers work: a list of URLs goes in, and the service generates crawl signals that lead Googlebot to fetch each URL. IndexChex offers three delivery options:

  • Standard submission costs 1 credit per URL, accepts up to 10,000 URLs per job and completes jobs within 24 hours.
  • Instant submission costs 60 credits per URL and accepts up to 1,000 URLs per job, for pages that need to be live in search the same day.
  • Drip feed spreads a standard job over 1 to 30 days and accepts up to 25,000 URLs, for link profiles where a sudden burst of crawl activity is unwanted. See drip-feed indexing.

IndexChex states that its submission methods do not connect URLs to spam networks or link pyramids, and it does not use Google's Indexing API, which Google reserves for job-posting and livestream pages (see the Indexing API and backlinks).

Verification

The second half of the product is the index checker. Each URL is looked up against live Google results using four query forms: the bare URL, the quoted URL, a site: query and an inurl: query. A URL that appears for any of them is counted as indexed. Checks cost 1 credit per URL and run in batches of up to 10,000.

A submission can also schedule an automatic re-check 1 to 5 days later. URLs that come back not indexed can be moved into a new submission in one click. This closes the loop that verifying backlink indexation describes: the vendor's own report is not the only evidence of what happened.

Measured performance

IndexChex measures its own performance weekly on recurring URL sets. As of October 2026 those measurements show:

MeasureResult
Time to first Googlebot crawl (both modes)Under 2 minutes on average
Instant mode indexation95%+ within 5 to 10 minutes
Standard mode indexation85%+ for typical sites, links and citations

These are averages, not guarantees. IndexChex guarantees that Googlebot crawls submitted URLs; indexing remains Google's quality decision, and the difference between crawling and indexing is why no honest tool promises every URL. The method is documented on the benchmark methodology page.

Pricing

Credits are sold as monthly plans (Starter $19.99 for 5,000, Growth $49.99 for 25,000, Scale $149.99 for 100,000) or one-time packs (from $21.99 for 5,000 up to $1,399.99 for 1,000,000). Standard submission therefore costs between $0.0014 and $0.0044 per URL depending on volume. Pack credits do not expire while the account is active; subscription credits roll over up to twice the monthly allotment. There is no free trial. Backlink indexer pricing models compares this credit model with pay-per-indexed and refund-based pricing.

API

IndexChex has a REST API for index-check and submission jobs. Its second version mirrors the request and response schema of SpeedyIndex's API, so an integration written for SpeedyIndex can be pointed at IndexChex by changing the base URL. Full details are on the API v2 compatibility page.

Position in the category

IndexChex belongs to the paid backlink indexer category alongside tools such as Rapid URL Indexer, SpeedyIndex, Omega Indexer and IndexMeNow. Its distinguishing design choice is pairing submission with independent index checks in the same account. Side-by-side comparisons are kept on the comparison site, with sources and check dates for every competitor figure.

FAQ

What is IndexChex?

IndexChex is a backlink indexer and bulk Google index checker. It submits URLs for Googlebot crawling and then checks whether each URL appears in Google's index, using one shared credit balance.

Does IndexChex guarantee indexing?

No. IndexChex guarantees that Googlebot crawls submitted URLs. Whether a crawled page is indexed is Google's decision, so credits are not refunded for URLs that stay out of the index.

Does IndexChex use the Google Indexing API?

No. Google limits the Indexing API to job-posting and livestream pages, so IndexChex uses other submission channels and does not route URLs through that API.
